Well I have been waiting for a reply, seems like no one has answered my question. Can someone please post some suggestions. urgent
You have 2 options. Either use your old H1 which is still valid (assuming u still have a valid visa stamp) and enter US (carry a latest offer letter from employer). If you use the old H1, then you will only have 2 more years of H1 time left.
You can file for a fresh H1 visa in Master's quota under consular processing and when its approved, attend the Visa interview, get a new H1 stamp, and re-enter using the fresh stamp. This way, you will get fresh 6 yrs time on H1.

If you are impacted by unavailability of visa number, you can get 3 year extension of H1B after I-140 is approved. If your priority date is current, then you have to file for status adjustment, not H1B extension. If your lawyer does not understand the law, better get a "real" lawyer :)
I just got my Labor approved a couple week ago and now i want to file I-140 premium processing. But my lawyer's not allow me to do that coz once my I-140 approve i can't file my 8 th year extension. My 7th years H1B will expire on Aug 30, 2007.

Since EB visa number was unavailable for the entire EB cases in August, presumedly a substantial portion of these cases could include those cases for which the EB visa numbers were pull out before July 2, 2007 in June and adjudicated throughout the period as reported by some I-485 applicants who reported that their I-485 applications were approved when the visa number was unavailable. Interesting.

As both the I-94 that you got with the I797 and the white I-94 that you surrendered are with the same number, it does not really matter as the arrival record associated with the I-94# would have been closed with the departure record submitted by the white I-94 card when you left the country.
You can send the I-94 card tothe London, KY address to be sure. AFAIK, if the I-94 with the same number was turned in, you are fine.

Received Finger Print notice(s), FPs due this month
I have changed my Address just after we have received EAD Cards and after a week I got Finger Print notices to my old address, Obviously USPS will not forward those mails to my new address. My Attorney sent my original FPs to me and I am going for FPs to my old location.

I am not sure if someone is in same situation.For my I140 it says the following
Current Status: Document mailed to applicant.
On April 1, 2009 we mailed the document to the address we have on file. You should receive the new document within 30 days. If you do not, or if you move before you get it, call customer service.
I am not sure what does this mean. If some one can throw some light.

Hi All,
We have applied for 485 in July 2007(SELF+SPOUSE+KID). Bcoz of the issue with Fee, my son's 485 packet was sent back. Meanwhile, me and my spouse got our FP notices and we did them at nearest ASC.
My Lawyer corrected the fee and sent my son's 485 back to USCIS and was accepted. I got his reciept numbers in Dec 1st week. My son is 16 months old and we did not recieve his FP notices yet.
Do we receieve FP notices irrespective of the age or do we have any relaxation of kids under a certain age..Any one has any experiance..please share..Appreciate it..

It looks like you are getting glare from glass or something. Get as close to the glass as you can and the lens as perpendicular as possible. A dark cloth and duct tape to put it up with would get you two things: (1) ability to block glare from lights behind you and (2) hide you from the birds so they settle down.
I've actually put the camera on a tripod and draped a large towel over it and my head/torso for camoflage, which let me stand outdoors and get closer without scaring them away. But I don't do that much because it's really tiring standing there, motionless :)
For the most part, a flash doesn't seem to bother birds much and it's a great help - you get better contrast and a faster shutter.
